This course covers safeguarding, recognising signs of abuse, your responsibilities, how to report concerns, and understanding the Prevent duty and British values to help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

You’ll explore why compliance matters in ordinary data decisions, how risk appears across the data lifecycle, how to recognise protected, sensitive and confidential data and how legal and regulatory frameworks shape careful data handling.
