Welcome to your sustainability electives!

The framework is based on four themes currently entitled: introduction to sustainability, sustainability in depth, embedding factors, delivering impact.
These themes take account of those learners on programmes that have a significant level of sustainability content and those that have not.

Theme 1: Introduction to sustainability

The purpose of this theme is to establish a shared, practical understanding of sustainability and why it matters in organisational contexts.

The focus is on core concepts, language and framing.

Theme 2: Sustainability in depth

The purpose of this theme is to build depth across key environmental, social and economic sustainability issues that shape organisational risk, responsibility and opportunity.

The focus is on issue literacy, systems thinking and applied understanding.

Theme 3: Embedding sustainability

The purpose of this theme is to translate sustainability knowledge into organisational systems, behaviours and decision-making.

The focus is on application, integration and delivery at organisational and functional level.

Theme 4: Delivering impact
